DOGGY DAY CARE

We consider ourselves to be an alternative to a traditional doggy day care. We named it Lazy Bones for a reason... We have 2 small dogs that are lower-energy and prefer to only hang out with humans and other lower-energy neutral/passive temperament energy dogs. If your dog might prefer a relaxing day in our home instead of a high-energy play day at a doggy day care center, then we might be the day care for you! Even if your dog is higher-energy, we still might be able to help. Our house is a fairly small, ground level suite. The kitchen/living space is open concept and where we spend our time so your dog is fully supervised. We also have a large, fully fenced yard. We take care introducing new dogs to our dogs and cats and if there are any concerns, our pets can be secured in another room.

Traditional doggy day cares are amazing. You drop your dog off and they get to play all day, maybe even get a little training time, grooming or even an adventure walk in the woods! So many dogs benefit from this, but some don't. Maybe your dog has anxiety around higher-energy dogs. Maybe it has separation anxiety or mobility issues due to age or an injury. Our doggy day care is aimed at dogs that like having a human around to keep them company.
